Julia Jay- Zen Fitness Owner

With over ten years in the fitness industry, I’ve had the privilege of helping people of all fitness levels reach their goals. My approach is always personal and tailored, ensuring each client feels supported on their journey toward lasting success. I founded Zen Fitness to share my passion with as many people as I can. My biggest goal in life is to show that there are countless ways to move your body—because when you find the routine that feels right for you, fitness becomes more than exercise. It becomes a source of happiness, health, and confidence. Today, I work with clients in person on Oahu as well as online, making it possible to connect and create meaningful fitness experiences from anywhere.

Corey- Tai Chi

As a freshman at UC San Diego, I started practicing Yang style tai chi and have continued throughout the years. I’ve learned multiple Yang style empty-hand forms and weapon forms such as sword and fan. I enjoy teaching tai chi to perpetuate the art and guide students by reinforcing tai chi principles in advancing their practice. My goal is for students to learn sufficiently to be able to practice a complete form independently. I offer group classes and individual instruction in the Honolulu area.

Certifications: 500 Hour Tai Chi Instructor (traditional short form, long form, weapon, and push hands)

Paige- Yoga/Reiki/Massage/Meditation

Diving deep into the practice of living yoga the past 15 years, I have created a heart centered approach to body mechanics, embodiment, and mindfulness.  With a background in Massage Therapy and Esthetics I bring a subtle taste of mindful anatomy into my classes to educate you on the muscles we are working with in each pose. I have over six years of experience teaching yoga privately and large groups of all body types, I focus on creating classes that are adaptable and ever changing to suit each vessel (body) that is on the mat with me.  I love experiencing all the different ways of guiding people to tap into their bodies and spiritual practices, as we all have different ways to tap in.  My focus is not to use the body to get into the poses, but the poses to get deeper into the body. My classes are aimed to feel like a warm hug to yourself, deep stretch, and a hope of feeling lighter as you go back into the world after class. While living in Hawaii I focus on outdoor classes so I can fuse the beautiful Aina (land) into our presence practice.
